David Elgin Dodge, registered architect and former apprentice to Frank Lloyd Wright, worked with Taliesin Architects from its inception in 1959 until the mid 1990s. Mr. Dodge managed the firm's European offices and has designed many theaters, cultural centers, educational buildings, and custom residences.
Mr. Dodge teaches "the philosophy of an organic concept" at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. Past courses at the School include theater design and organic residential architecture.
Also a musician and music lover, Mr. Dodge plays the piano and the organ, and has composed music for both. He has assisted in the arrangement of scores for music included at performances at Taliesin and Taliesin West. Mr. Dodge can generally be found at the Taliesin West campus where he resides, or traveling in Europe where he is a registered architect in Switzerland.
