Taliesin, the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, is pleased to provide one of the most unique educational experiences available in higher education. Our individualized program, stunning campuses, epic historic legacy, and dedicated faculty and staff combine to challenge and support the most ambitious students of architecture.

Highlights of our program include:

INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING
Students develop an individualized course of study, which is monitored one-on-one with personal mentors, and assessed by portfolio reviews rather than by formal testing.

PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS
Students work directly with Architects on specialized and case-study projects as a component of the ‘hands-on’ learning experience.

RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY
Students reside on-campus, and participate with tasks involved in maintaining the school community. Education at Taliesin is a way of life.

THE DESERT AND PRAIRIE SHELTER PROGRAMS
Students can experience the "essence" of shelter and the role of the Architect by designing and building experimental, environmentally sensitive dwellings which they inhabit upon completion.

TWIN CAMPUSES
The School operates from two campuses seasonally, taking advantage of mild winters at Taliesin West in Arizona’s Sonoran Desert and temperate summers at Taliesin in Wisconsin’s pastoral hills. Both campuses are surrounded by natural open spaces, emphasizing a deep connection betwen architecture and the environment.

As Dean of this dynamic School, I invite you to learn about our program, visit our campuses, and apply to join us as a student.
